I checked IMDB, not sure if it's something I'd want to see in a theater - even if 10% goes towards a good cause. It sounds more like something I'd watch 5 years from now on a rainy Saturday afternoon, on TBS.
If I was just going by the cast and crew list on IMDB, I probably wouldn't see it in theaters either. But the previews really had me groovin', and I plan to see it next weekend.
I think this is a somewhat unethical promotional technique. Roll Bounce probably wouldn't have gotten much press without the hurricane relief gimmick, so they're hoping the additional ticket sales from the publicity over the course of the film's run will offset the (I'm assuming tax-deductable) loss in immediate profits. If helping the hurricane victims were really Fox's concern, they would have just made a flat donation right off the bat. Still, I suppose every little bit helps.
