I used to watch this show religiously every saturday night on TNT, and then sadly it was pulled. I think it was due to the show changing the format, going from Joe Bob sittin in a chair in front of his trailer, to that godaweful apartment set he moved to.
I really wish they'd bring this show back on the air, saturday nights are just so damn empty on t.v. without it. And besides, I was a HUGE fan of the TNT mailgirl! [IMG] Don't really have a point to this thread, and don't really know what to accomplish by starting it, just venting I guess.

    No shit. [IMG]
I wish I had recorded those. His representation of Prehistoric Women, a.k.a. Slave Girls, was hilarious. I weep.

Yup, nobody does the 3Bs (Beasts Blood & Breasts) Like Joe Bob. I even bought a copy of "Even Hitler had a girlfriend" because of him.
Did you ever subscribe to his newsletter?????
UNLESS my wife threw them out, I would copy off a few if you send me your address.
You can email at [email protected] with your address if you want a few and I'll start looking for them

I was a big fan as well. I was actually sadder to see him hosting bland movies such as "Back to the Future" in his last few months on TNT than I was to see him go off of the air. There really aren't any great national late-night movie hosts anymore. It would be great to see the Sci-Fi channel pick up Joe Bob or someone like The Ghoul to host late night movies.

Finally, some other Joe Bob fans. I also loved the show, and had completely forgotten till I was watching Casino on USA a few days ago...and old Joe Bob reared his red-neck mug...hehe. Bring it back...I say, Joe Bob's social commentary was dead on.... (hehe, I said social commentary).

Monstervision and that one Weeeeeird show (also on TNT) were two of my favorite parts of Saturday nights way back in the day. If only they were still around... TNT seems to have gone all-drama, though, so the chances are slim.

The reason why I liked MonsterVision so much was basically, Joe Bob Briggs. He was a fantastic host with many funny tidbits about the movie you were watching. I guess TNT just wants to show more reruns of junky television like TNN.
