For the JBL S38 and the Axiom M22, which would be the better speaker for my preference?

    Thanks in advance ...

What do you mean by "forward sounding"? Something like Klipsch?

And about "airy", something like electrostats?

Not being familiar with what's available in Trinidad, is there any reason why you can't audition them yourself?

I wouldn't characterize JBL as "Airy". I would call them "accurate" and faithful in reproducing sound.
I would describe Boston Acoustics "Airy". Just as I would describe Bose "Hairy"....[IMG]
I've not listened to the other brand so I can't comment on those.
