I don't know if this belongs in the TV section, since it's related to the Oscars telecast, but I wrote an article about something I noticed with the In Memoriam. The thing I noticed is that winning an Oscar is no guarantee that you'll be included in the In Memoriam at the Oscars when you die. I am no longer shocked at any names that get left out of In Memoriam. I think the all-time worst was Deforrest Kelley, who IIRC was in nearly 80 films.
