These are a hell of a deal for glass Toslink. I mean, 3 meters for well under $25? Now to find it cheaper

Do you know anything about this company or is this just a random find?

Just curious, are optical cables pretty much created equal or are there significant perceived differences in brands or components? I assume that anything this cheap is plastic not glass, so is all plastic equal and the ends the same.

Well I have no idea who is actually making the cables, but they're glass. MCM/Newark are distributers of electronic components as well as a variety of related products. Generally they deal with reputable companies making reputable products. I'm not saying that there's going to be an audible difference between that and plastic toslink but seeing as what some of the prices are for plastic toslink, I thought these represented reasonable alternatives.
