I am looking for left,right, and center speakers for my home audio/video system. Looking to spend $500-$600 range.
I have a room that is 20x20. I just purchased a yamaha rx-v650 receiver and a jbl 250w sub. What are some of you using and how much did you pay. Any regrets? I need to get something asap. I appreciate any input. I am also looking at the samsung 46"dlp for my tv.

Most people will mention speakers that they use and like. I have Athena F2s & a C1 that I spent $500 on.

My recommendation for you is to go listen to some speakers at a local dealer and see what brand of speakers your ears prefer. Then if they are out of your price range post a new thread here with the ones that you liked and someone might be able to point you in the direction of similar speakers that are cheaper or possibly an online retailer that will have the same speakers as your local dealer for a better price.

Paradigm Atoms, $189/pair and a CC-170 to match it perfectly ($249?). That's a good starter setup. Kenny, have you thought about a projector instead of a DLP TV? You can save a TON of money, have a much larger, crisper picture and then dump more money into your audio.
