In the early part of the 1960s, there was a filmed syndicated tv program where a famous baseball player gave tips to kids. I remember seeing it on TV circa the summer of 1962 on weekday afternoons. Each program might have been only 15 minutes long and I could swear that the ballplayer was Don Drysdale, but neither his website, Wikipedia, or imdb mention the show when they talk about his career. Does anyone remember this show?

I know Johnny Bench did a similar program but that was years later, and it's not the program I saw.

This might be the show though it ran from 1959-61, a little before 1962 . . . .

"Home Run Derby" (1959)

Three volumes of the show have been released on DVD and can be found at several online retailers, including Amazon.

Thanks, but I'm not talking about "Home Run Derby". The show I'm talking about had the same baseball player giving advice every show. It was probably filmed in the same time period as "Home Run Derby", though.
