I need a new receiver...Please Help Choose!!! (1 Viewer)

I am in the market for a new receiver, and I don't know where to buy. Should I buy from a local retailer, or buy online.

I have been told that if I buy online, the manufaturer warranty is void because they sell for less.

I am pretty sure that I want a Yamaha RX-V1300 receiver. It seem to have everything I need.

I need:

6.1 decoding
At least 2 digital coax imputs
The rest speaks for itself.

Please give advice!

Not everything you buy online is from an unauthorized dealer.

For example, Onecall.com sells Yahama's online, and they're authorized.
