I'm at work and it's ugly. I was out too late last night. Any suggestions?

Don't drink on a work night? JK I usually pop an excederin before I go to bed to avoid them. Alot of times a bloody mary first thing in the morning helps.

The hair of the dog that bit you is the only way I've heard to fix hangovers.

If you are like me and have the queasy type of hangover, I've found that the Alkaseltzer "morning after" version does wonders. And it has aspirin in it for the headache too. Dont know if you can run out to get some though. Keep it on hand. I'm the kind of person that can drink a decent amount and not get hungover, but when I DO get hungover, its BAD. I used to lose entire days to a hangover because I couldnt get out of bed withoug puking. Alkaseltzer works!

    My routine:

-Eat a good meal the afternoon before you know you're gonna tie one on.

-Before you pass out, pop several ibuprofen and wash 'em down with as much gatorade as you can stomach.

Well, these are preventative measures anyway, not much help after the fact, huh?

Gatorade will help if you are in pain because you are dehydrated, so you could still try it...

My friend swears by Chaser pills. I've never tried 'em. I usually down 1 aspirin and as much water as my stomach can hold before I pass out... er, I mean go to bed. Then, when I get up in the middle of the night to take a leak, I drink more water.

I usually just wake up feeling a little groggy but it wears off pretty quick.

I second the suggestion about the Excedrin. I pop 3 Excedrin migrane before I go to bed if I feel I will have a hangover in the morning and 'lo and behold, no headach. [IMG]

Drink a large class of water and take a 2 hour nap. If you think you'll get in trouble, then leave a note on your back telling everyone why you are sleeping..

I'm sure your boss will understand, it was Fat Tuesday after all..

My boss is the one who paid for the drinks and ain't feeling too hot himself. I just took a nap in the conf room and downed a greasy steak and cheese. I'm feeling a little better now.

I'm never doing this again... (famous last words)

I will have to agree that Gatorade is the drink of champions when you have a hangover. Banana's are also the key to feeling better.

Here's my Recipe for a hangover

2 Glasses of water with a couple aspirin or another type of pain releiver with 2 1000 mg Vit c tablets and then many many bottles of gatorade.
