In the polls area, there's a topic concerning films that show the WTC in it. Since I won't be picking this up this week, can you go there and mention whether the WTC is in that film? A co-worker said it was, and described the scene, but I don't recall such a scene. Details here:

It's there in the first shot of New York, standing tall and proud.

The transfer is really good, even with the higher than usual amount of dirt spotting (which has always been a problem with this film). This DVD blows the laserdisc away. Even the 2.0 mix is good, though the surrounds seem a bit sparse. I cannot compare it to the PCM on the LD, as that was sold eons ago. Anyone out there have the LD?
Great 16x9 trailer. Wish there were real extras, but I LOVE this film, so that's OK.

THIS DVD HAS BEEN DUBBED!!!
Yes the cuss words have been removed.
Look at the scene were Mic Dundee is talking to the two street women. When the pimp comes over to get the girls busy Mic interrupts him and the pimp response clearly with the "F" word but is dubbed with "SCREW"!!!
There are at least two more scenes like that that I noticed. This is a paramount pictures not disney. What happened?

Likely it was dubbed before it was released to theaters to garner a lower MPAA rating. Like Galaxy Quest. There is a part where "f***" was replaced by "screw," but you still clearly see the mouthing of the former.

The film has been that way since it's American debut, Paramount didn't want an R rating. There's no consipiracy.
