I hear that the $99 KLH is not available any longer at BB? True?

CC has a 100Wx2 Sherwood receiver for $99. I see in ads from time to time at like $79.

I think the KLH was on the list because of the low price.

    Literally ANYTHING will work.

I can always count on a good vintage rec. at Goodwill...Garage blaster.

Funny thing is my phone rang and she told me that she was on her way. TOld me not to worry about dinner....which was a good thing because I still had to connect my 25-31 CS to a Technics receiver! There was a knock on the door just as I hid the box and put up the meter..man, she was fast [IMG] Still dont think I have the sub calibrated correctly though it sounded ok just for tonight. Date went great! Joy RIde is a blast, get it if ya have not seen it (at least rent it)! I tell ya, it's still taking some time for me to adjust to the new non boomy sound from this sub. I keep going over to it wondering if it's on thinking that the amp shut off...but then, SLAMM! "Oh there it goes!" it's on... [IMG] My girl even noticed the difference between it and the Sony SAWM-40.
One question, the receiver is rated 100x2 from 40hz-20Khz 8 ohm. Will I not get any bass info from 40hz on down? If not, this thing is for sure going back! I may keep it if I can get enough recommendations. Should I run two sets of wires from the sub to the receiver (L & R connections) Thanks everyone!

It'll go below that. Technics is just giving a limited range because the numbers get 'dirty' below 40.

    Nothing to worry about.

Try a test disc if you have one with tones below 40 and I'm sure they'll play.
