I have my Marantz SR14ex, I can say is... (1 Viewer)

I replaced my Denon 4800 with the Marantz SR14ex, and all I can say is wow! Music never sounded so good with My Golds. The sound stage and highs are so clear, I can hear them breath. I dont know why, because with my Denon I used two MA700's for my mains, these rate at 200w should sound the same or better the Mar14, but there is a clear difference in performance. Anyone know why? is it because of the processing? I'm currently using the MA700 for the ex channel, but will later try them up front, but with such improvement with the Marantz sr14, I have my doubts they will sound better. In Hometheater I realy have not noticed much difference from the Denon 4800 and the Marantz.
