I have an Onkyo receiver connected to a Samsung smart TV via ARC.

    Sound for is great for cable but will not play Amazon, Youtube etc through receiver on the different inputs. I'm sure its probably a simple solution but I haven't figured it out yet. Help?

    Assuming you are using a cable box, the audio is coming from that, so it sounds like ARC isn't working at all. Verify your Onkyo supports it, that the HDMI cable from the Onkyo is plugged into the input on your TV that supports ARC (it usually is labeled ARC on the back of the set). For Samsung sets you also need to make sure that you have Anynet+ turned on in the menu.
