I have one more space on the rack... one more...

    It's tortureing me!

Can you guys suggest one more thing?

Maybe there is something I'm missing?????

There has to be such a component out there!

What I have on the rack-

    Kenwood Receiver 75x4

    Audiosource SS5 DPL processor

    Panasonic omnivision VCR

    Pioneer LDV-2200 LD player

    JVC ????? DVD player

    Sun 300X2 amplifier for subwoofer

    Sun 10 band EQ

    And thats about it.

Sometimes I regret selling them processors..

    Anything guys?

I've thought of a tape deck or LP player, but I just don't need one..

    Maybe a new cd transport?

    Anything?

    This is driving me crazy!

    Nathan

Sure. Crown K2 amp or Samson S1000 would fit quite nicely.

How about a line doubler to go along with a brand new HD FPTV and 120" 16x9 motorized screen? That should take care of things.

Have you considered something like the Furman PL-8? Depending on where your "rack" is, it might come in handy when the lights are off.

Get a Tivo. I just got one a few weeks ago and it ranks up there with the DVD player in the coolness factor. If you got the cash, you won't regret it...

I believe you mean quotation marks, not parentheses. [IMG]
Are you serious that you are looking to buy something just because you have any empty space on your "rack" [IMG]
I have a 1974 Pioneer quadraphonic receiver that takes up a ton of space [IMG]

Nathan, get a Linn CD12 CD player for $12,000. [IMG]
Seriously, how about Sony's SCD-CE775 SACD changer? It's only $350. Open yourself up to SACD! Just note that you have to use the analog outputs for SACD playback. The 'CE775 can play both stereo and multi-channel SACDs. Head on over to Best Buy or Circuit City and pick one up. By the way, the 'CE775 is also a decent CD player for the price.

I'm considering a Monster power conditioner.

    Nathan,

What about just replacing your receiver instead? That would probably better your system more than anything right now.

    Keith,
Well, the thought that was actually running through my mind was a reciever with 6.1 capabilities but in need of a seperate amp to power the rear channel(s). That way, later on, an amp could fill up the rack. [IMG]
Having a lot of toys is fun. But having toys that work together to form one big toy is even better. [IMG]

Here is my recomendation for the space in your rack. I would ether upgrade my cd player and add a d/a converter, get a power conditioner or get a super audio cd player and a power conditioner. I am in the middle of upgading my HT system as well but another thing you might consider is upgrading and slowly bumping up your system. If you are basically happy with what you have. Then you really do not need to get anything else, even if you have a open spot. If you are running a power amp you may want to rearange the rack and use that space to allow you amp space to vent.

    Ya know it's funny...
technically, i have an open air rack with five shelves, with the bottom empty however, on the top shelf sits my B&K 307. Sitting on top of the 307, is an Integra 6.2 and on top of the Integra is my new Panny RP-91, lol.. I guess i should put the bedroom rig together huh? [IMG](got the B&W 303's for the bedroom last week).

    Dan,
I like your thinking. [IMG] [IMG]
    Chip,
Yes, get that bedroom system going! Any word on when you will be getting the Elite receiver?
