I have a bad habit (or disorder) at the gas pump that needs to stop... (1 Viewer)

I was going to ask if anyone had heard of computers or calculators!!!

Also, alot of people seem to be using debit cards - do those things have fraud protection in the event they are stolen? I only use credit cards for that very reason (well plus the float, but that seems too advanced for this discussion).

Edit: I just fill up until the pump clicks. By using my credit card - I don't really care what the cents are.

It's good that you have the protection. You are still missing the float, however I guess that some people are not comfortable with the idea of credit cards.

Sure there is, it's just real short, and only if you pay your balance in full every month.

 You overpay bills so your checkbook has zeroes in it?

Makes no cents to me, that's for sure.

I pay at the pump with credit card, pump until it clicks off, print the receipt, and then enter the receipts in my money program every week or two. My 'weakness' is that I won't use a gas station that doesn't have pay-at-the-pump.
