I have a 2 conductor power cord...HELP (1 Viewer)

On my Marantz sr8200 receiver...the supplied power cord is a dinky two conductor cord. I wanted to upgrade to a better quality power cord but the only ones I could find were three conductors. Is there a higher quality 2 conductor cord or can I use a 3 conductor cord with this unit.

I really need help with this and thanks in advance.

For a dirt cheap intro to better power cords check into the Volex 17604, 14GA ,shielded, about $6 each.

Is this an IEC type detachable two conductor supplied cord with the Marantz ? If it is detachable, you have options.

There are available adapters (standard and cryo'd adapters) in the aftermarket.
