I hate my local cable company (1 Viewer)

When Jordan was at the peak of his game and Chicago was a dynasty my local cable company did not provide their games. When he left and Chicago fell apart, they immediately added Chicago's WGN to our available channels.
Fast forward to today----> Jordan makes his return, the first game on NBC is scheduled for today against Philly. My local cable company decides that the University of Montana football game is more important.

Oh well, at least I can catch that Bulls game on WGN.

Odd, you sure this was a cable company decision? Seems like the local NBC affiliate would make that call and choose to broadcast the football game. The cable provider should have no say in such things.
Did they actually just not carry NBC for that time period and replace it with another channel or something?

You're probably right Vince. In this case it probably was the NBC affiliates' decision.
