A while back Amazon had CSI:NY up for just $20.00! So I quickly ordered it, knowing the price would not stay there. Well, I was shocked when it arrived today without them trying to back out of that price! I didn't think they could back out, I think there is a law that once something is marked at a price, they have to sell it for that.

Anyway, anyone ever catch any other sets like that? What a bargain!

Thanks for telling us, but it looks like the sale is over with. [IMG] I have never seen a set like that be so cheap, except for Hercules season 1 and the new Twilight Zone set.

I would have definitely shared if I knew of this site when I found it! I did e-mail someone on TVShowsonDVD.com at the time, but it never got posted.

I also saw this set at my local retailer for kind of a less expensive price than the usual sets. I didn’t get it, don’t know it. I’m wondering is it any good? I love CSI and hate CSI:Miami.

A year or so ago I got season 1 of "24" from amazon.com for $14.99. Just bought season 1 of "Without a Trace" for $19.99. I love a bargain :).

CD Universe had a similar price. I believe it was because they had the wrong SRP. They honored the price mistake for one copy per customer.

S1 of "24" was a widespread Fox S1 sale. They had multiple S1 sets available at that price. It was to hook you on the 1st season so you'd buy the rest. The CSI sets weren't meant to be cheap, though.

Yeah, I got 24 for $15.00 on amazon too, had no interest in it till I saw it for that price. It was well worth it and now I have s2 and s3!

Still need opinions on CSI:NY in comparison to CSI and CSI:Miami.

I don't buy a lot of complete season dvd sets, and I don't mind waiting a couple of years for the ones I do want to go on sale, or at least wait for DDD's semi-annual 20% off sales (should be one next month). However, I'm going to make an exception for "Nowhere Man" when it comes out the end of Dec. I've been waiting too long for it to wait any longer.

It starts slow, but picks up slowly, lol.
They don't have much of personal character development backstory compared to Vegas and Miami.

But the picture and sound are top notch, better than most movie DVDs today.
