Okay, I got $1500 & am I pretty much clueless on what HDTV(or EDTV?) I should be looking at. One qualification it must have is fit into these dimensions: 39 1/2 W X 32 1/2 H X 26 D. That taken, I am probably looking at a direct view HDTV. As of right now HD broadcasts in my are are limited(and on stations I dont watch much). I do have a big DVD collection & a prog. scan DVD player(Toshiba SD5700). I have no qualms about a 16:9 set over a 4:3 set or vise-versa-just need to be pointed in the right direction. If there is one that fits my bill & is $1500 let me know as well. Currently I am using a JVC 32 inch "D" series TV with the squeeze trick for DVDs. Thanks

YEah, I heard about the Zenith- the D31D53 has quite an impressive list of features for the price its going at. Hard part is Id like to find a local dealer that carries it.
