The thing is, there haven't really been that many TV adaptations. I'll bet they've got a similar success/failure rate as films based upon plays, novels, foreign films, comic books, non-fiction books, comic strips, short stories, mythology, history, etc.

It sounds like it's not going to be very good, if rumors serve. The most we can hope for is either Jessica Alba or Kate Hudson in that little pink number. Otherwise, I'm going to hope it spurns the TV show on DVD release.
