    Hi,
I wish it was mine. oh I wish it was mine.
anyways, this thing is loud! is that good? and do HD broadcasts like the Olympics take care with their logos so you don't burn a hole in your screen?
furthermore, does anyone have any pics of burnt-in very expensive screens, so that I can show people who don't believe me?

Plasma TV's use phosphors so you should keep the contrast low to forestall screen burn. Under half of the allowable range is a good bet.
I had read somewhere recently that some plasma sets have an annoying hum particularly at high altitudes such as Denver.
