I just bought the re-released version of Hudson Hawk DVD at Walmart. It says that the DVD is in P/S and Widescreen.

Nowhere to be found whether Widescreen is LBX or 16:9 enhanced.

I'm going to return the DVD if the disc is NOT anamorphic.

anybody own this disc care to give me any info?

    THanX

I'm 99% sure that Hudson Hawk is indeed anamorphic (last time I checked, Monty Python and the Holy Grail was CTHV's only non-anamorphic widescreen DVD), but I'm not totally sure. Maybe somebody who has the DVD can give an answer.

I have prayed that this movie be erased from existance... No such luck, I guess.

Hudson Hawk does have an anamorphic widescreen transfer. The re-release is nothing more than just an artwork change.

Many of Columbia Tri-Star's early DVDs were in fact presented in anamorphic widescreen but failed to note this on the artwork.
