I have a Yamaha HTR-5450 receiver and a Toshiba SD-2300 DVD player. I was wondering whats the best way to hookup them up to a TV with only one set of A/V inputs (no S-Video).

Run the composite video output of the Toshiba as well as any other A/V sources you are using (such as game consoles) into the A/V jack of the receivers video inputs. Use the monitor out video jack on the receiver to the single composite input on the TV. If your VCR is mono you can get a splitter to split the signal and hook it up to the receiver too. Otherwise, you can just use the coax out.
