HTPC Question: Can It Be Done With No Chroma Bug (1 Viewer)

Call me anal, but I've seen the chroma bug and it drives me mad. I refuse to have a setup with it.
I am thinking about an HTPC and was wondering a)what software/hardware is recommended for DVD playback and b)are the programs/hardware that are recommended free of the chroma bug?
I read the Secrets review that said WinDVD did not have the chroma bug - but I don't know if this is a program that is recommended.
Any and all help would be appreciated as I dive into this world of HTPC.

The combination of TheaterTek DVD player and Radeon video card will give you about the best from an HTPC w/o chroma bug.
