    Hi Gang,
Can someone point me to a FAQ or answer the following questions:
    1) what are the minumum recommended system requirements (I have a spare PC with dual Pentium Pro 200 CPUs and 256MB RAM)?
    2) What do I need to look for in a video card?
    3) Is there any reason to seek out a hardware based decoder or are the newer players like WinDVD a decent choice?
    4) Which is considered to be the best decoder software (at one point, I thought it was WiDVD)?
    5) I have a SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum. Is this a good choice for HTPC?
    6) Are there certain DVD ROM drives that are known to be better than others? I've heard that the Toshibas and Pioneers are exc3llent.
    7) Is there any real advantage to using SCSI versus IDE?
    8) Is there a prefered OS?
    9) Does the quality of the RGB cable between the PC and TV make much of a difference?
    thanks!
    paul
