i'm currently using power dvd XP to play movies. my monitor is a 17inch samsung syncmaster (flat crt, model 753df) i keep it at 1280x1024 @ 60hz refresh and 32bbp colour.
heres my problem, lots of themovies i put in come out looking grainy ad fuzzy, while everything else stays sharp and pristine looking.
i try movies that are said to have great transfers like t2UE and lotr:extended and they still look bad.
i tried calibrating using video essentials, but i can only do so much, and it endes up throwing off the rest of my desktop and only making the video appear medocre.
how can i get movies to look as good as they should?
