HTPC and Software like TIVO? (1 Viewer)

Hey gang, I am planning on building a new HTPC, and was wondering what is considered the best "Tivo" like software. Also, how does it get programing guides?

Would also like suggestions on a Case for my HTPC to match common black components. I found some today, but they ran $300+

Best TiVo-like HTPC setup is probably the SageTV + WinTV card combo. Link. The PVR-350 is the most expensive but does hardware encoding so there's no hit on your CPU while capturing.
