Quick question for you. Do any of you that have a htpc ever play games on it? What does it look like on big screen?

I will be picking up my mitsu 46809 on Saturday and was thinking about doing a little online gaming through my tv and wondered what to look forward to(or not)

    Thanks for any input.

    Hi Nick,

I don't play games on my HTPC because I worry about stability. I originally thought I would do some of that, but I had some trouble just getting the platform to be stable when playing DVD's.... now that it's perfect, I don't want to mess it up!

Still, I'm curious about gaming on the big screen, so I'll either introduce a separate, dedicated gaming computer, or I'll just strap on an X-Box, etc. :)

You can easily run games on your HTPC; just make sure you get the right video card, and experiment to make sure your games aren't going to disrupt the primary function of your HTPC.

    G'luck,

    John
