For Dark Country, the French version is Zone B but has forced/non-removable subs.

There is a Turkish version without forced subs that is theoretically all region.

Is Dark Country an exceptional 3D release?

I could surely be talked into purchasing it (heck, I just bought Miniscule blindly), but a Nicholas Cage movie?! That's pretty scary before even considering the 3D aspect. :)

Nicolas Cage isn't in Dark Country. You must be thinking of Drive Angry.
Thomas Jane is the star and director of Dark Country and for my money it's one of the better modern 3D offerings.
You'll figure out the plot in about 10 minutes but it's still worth watching.
Full disclosure, I also liked Drive Angry.:):3dglasses:

I own the Turkish disc of Dark Country 3D: no forced subs and plays in Region A.

I apologize. I was looking at the Outcast cover.

I like Drive Angry, too. Really good 3D release.

However, I am not a big fan of Nicholas Cage and whenever I see his name on something I get a little shaky.

Best give "The Color out of Space" a miss then. Although to be fair, NC is pretty good in it.
This version of Lovecraft's classic tale by Richard Stanley is the best so far.

I just watched King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) tonight. I don't think this will be everyone's cup of tea, but the 3D was very well done. It's a conversion, but I didn't know that when I was watching, and because it had some really good pop out moments, I would have sworn that it was real 3D.

Johnny, my 3D list is getting smaller and smaller, I'm up to 381. There are a few that I need to complete my collection, but I'm not going to spend the high prices for them. So, in the mean time, I'm purchasing these German ones.

Like everyone else, I'm waiting for: TARZA, REVENGE SHOGUN, THE BUBBLE ROADSHOW, 3D RARITIES 2, SKYWALKER and FROZEN 2.

But I also just ordered: DRAGON BLADE, YOUNG DETECTIVE DEE and NOVA ZEMBLA.

I have Transformers. How are the other two films supposed to be?

I am kind of looking to buy what I can before the format is completely dead.

However, I am being careful not to pick up complete garbage titles.
