tried to watch Comin at Ya but it's slightly better than Spykids on my system but not good enough. gotta wait a bit. Went with Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom instead, with all its formulas and homages and just a little new. What I'd like to see if a time machine movie back to dino age. A good one. I don't think they can do a good movie like that anymore.

Meant to mention about Mortal Engines, it's old feeling fantasy. something I miss so much. It's like Baron Munchausen where they sail on a ship from the earth to the moon. Jule Verne type stuff. A really good movie like that.

I feel in love with this...AWESOME 3D...what 3D should look like, especially filmed with 3D cameras.

I'd never seen the first two films, but seeing this was live action, I took a chance and am I glad. The first 30 minutes had more pop-outs than most have during the whole movie. Nothing coming out of frame, but the pop-outs made up for it. The audio was good too.:thumbsup::thumbsup: :3dglasses:

It might just be for you, the wife might not like it.

I don’t watch it every Christmas but whenever I do, it doesn’t let me down. The first H&K movie is actually really fun, the second one less so. This one, the third, is closer in quality to the original.

Your tempting me to buy this again John, it seemed like a watch once for me so moved it on, I agree about the 3D though.

No, 2D only. They came out before the 3D revival took off.

I thought the 1st movie was hit/miss but still fairly entertaining.

The 2nd earned points due to all its nudity but wasn't good otherwise.

The 3rd felt like a collection of 3D effects in search of a story and laughs!

Or maybe - just maybe - he doesn't like every POS movie that comes across his door.

But yeah - you go with your notion that I didn't like the 2nd and 3rd "H&K" movies just to "stir the pot!"

I enjoyed it. It's kind of a SyFy type film, but better. Filmed with 3D cameras and it really shows. No pop-outs but things close to the screen. There was some odd effects in the some background scenes and it wasn't my projector. All in all a good addition to my collection and it's Region B locked. Tomorrow...BUNKER OF THE DEAD from Germany, also Region B locked.:thumbsup: :3dglasses:

Now to get off my ass and watch ENDGAME, so I can watch SPIDER MAN.
