Not mine, says estimated delivery 26th April but it’s not dispatched. Why the name change ?.
Something about copyrights....wait, here it comes...
I wonder if they are trying to dispatch for release day delivery ?, it’s about 3 days from Amazon Germany to the UK but obviously longer to the US.
I figured there must not have been a translation for "spider-verse" in German or other languages so they changed it to "new universe" in a number of international markets.
I think I prefer New Iniverse, I’m going to have to watch this on my own as my wife is terrified of Spiders, I’m not a big fan myself

Is it just me or have prices over there REALLY gone down? I have How to Train Your Dragon 3 and Mortal Engines on order at Amazon UK and they’re at almost clearance level prices.
Watched The nutcracker and the four realms 4K uhd Blu Ray tonight, bah.... practically all the way through we found the image to be almost awkward because it was so clear to see this was filmed with 3D in mind. I kept reaching for my 3D glasses to put on.
I watched Peter Rabbit last night and had the same thoughts. I kept thinking how good some of the scenes would look in 3D. I'm not sure it was even 3D in theaters, but the way some of the scenes are staged it seems like they were thinking about it.
MORTAL ENGINES just got dispatched from the UK.
IS Mortal Engines 3D region free?
Mortal Engines 3D = Universal Studios
Yes, Region Free
Yeah there are a number at very low prices but most of the ones I selected will not ship to the US.
Received an order from Sanity (AUS)
Spider-verse 3D (Region Free)
How to Train Your Dragon: HIdden World 3D (Region Free)
Storks 3D (Region Free)
Free-Birds 3D (Region B Locked)
Some new concern over certain version of Spider-Verse over an issue that never crossed my mind. Though every version tested so far has been Region Free and English language audio, a couple of reports have surfaced about the film itself having the Comic Book style Text Bubbles (not subtitles, but the onscreen text) some of which spoken and some which is just onscreen to be read. The German edition has the text bubbles written in German and so far this appears undefeatable. There isn't a lot of unspoken 'bubbles' but there are a few which may mean non German readers may have to translate the phrases (or do it by memory). I think this has affected 4K/3D/2D disc, but so far only the German item has been confirmed.
The Aus/NZ and Indian version not surprisingly have english bubble
The Italian Edition seems to use a version with English Text bubbles. The French and Spanish Editions I don't think have been reported yet though it appears the Spanish item may have Spanish Text Bubbles.
The Dutch/Benelux and probably Scandinavian items appears to have English and share the same discs as it appears the French item might have.
Crap, the German disc is on its way already, may have to get one of the others now. They COULD use the multi-angle feature to show text both ways, as most Disney titles do, but of course they could have also put it out in the US in the first place.
Nobody has found a workaround yet, but this was first mentioned yesterday and still a limited number of people have checked it. Hopefully some combination of Language/Menu/Geographic location may change the effect OR it could just be a non-issue for others.
I have the US 4K UHD digital copy already, and the German 3D disc on the way. Since I already have access to the fully English version in 2D and have already seen the film, unless it ends up totally killing a bunch of gags, I’m inclined to keep the German and not worry too much about it.
The Disney titles change angles along with the audio- that’s why they go black for a second when they switch tracks. I would assume picking English from the Languages menu would bring that up if it existed, but will have to check the disc when it gets here.
