That's a deal breaker for me. I might just buy it on 4K/UHD on iTunes once it's down to $9.99 or less.

Agreed, there are some very cool atmospheric effects of flotsam in the frame in some underwater shots, but it doesn't jump out at you much.

Watched Ice Age: Continental Drift last night. One of the best 3D discs I have seen. Most of time something is sticking out-of-the-screen. I still have over 50 3-D titles that I haven't seen.

I watched the 3D "Goosebumps" yesterday and was a bit disappointed by the 3D. Some scenes used it well but I didn't think the 3D added to the story as much as expected. This seems like the kind of movie that'd go wild with 3D, but it mostly just added depth...

For this particular disc there are two or three rows of subtitles where the Oppo can only move part of the forced subtitles off the screen.

THE BOSS BABY, THE BOX TROLLS, SHREK 1-4, MISS PEREGRINES HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, PARANOTMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, RATATOUILLE, THE MUMMY, THE GROODS or one of the other 13 I have not watched yet.

But then again, if the grand kids come over, then it's what they bring with them.

I swear, that's so funny. I must have said to myself 3 times, it's with a G, not a C. The spelling of Paranormal was good in my head, but as you can see the R is right next to the T, hence the error. :dancing-banana-04:

I was hesitant to buy Despicable Me 3 with the reviews saying the 3D is not as good as the previous versions. But Zavvi had it for $7.99 so I thought I would give it a try.

I just watched the opening 5-10 minutes and there is depth and plenty of pop-outs so I think the 3D is very good.

Then if there's no DEPTH, then it's 2D, right?
Thanks Johnny, just trying to do my part.

I've collected all the SAWS, but on DVD, so I had to purchase SAW 3D: THE FINAL CHAPTER. How was it...EXCELLENT! Since it was filmed with a 3D camera, this really shines.

Pop outs throughout and you're really there through all the blood and guts.:thumbsup: :3dglasses:

Oh, and when I cancelled my UK MEG for the US MEG, I thought I had cancelled ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, I didn't because it's being shipped. Oh well, now I have the 3D and 4K versions and will watch both.

A lot of modern 3D is just about depth. Crimes of Grinewald includes depth and outward projection and all the good things that make 3D exciting.
