SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, I really liked it. The 3D, to me, was better than the last two. :3dglasses:

Watched Skyscraper 3D last night. Not much of interest going on in the film, but the height sequences in 3D were quite nice. Someone watching with me half jokingly said she thought she was gonna barf since the 3D was triggering her vertigo.

I normally like anything with the Rock in it, having looked at several clips of skyscraper though I'm not really sure.

Been putting off watching Avengers Infinity war 3D as its 149 minutes... Well we really enjoyed it this afternoon, yes it could of been 30 minutes shorter but I enjoyed the story and humour. The 3D was fantastic for a conversion and just brought the whole thing together!.
I didn't notice any crosstalk and the 3D motion on the jvc projector is very very good for Active.

Amazon UK has Black Panther 3D and Star Wars: The Last Jedi 3D for 10 GBP each (after VAT deduction). That works out to about $13.50 each after conversion, plus shipping.

See John? Sometimes it is better and cheaper to buy domestically.

Yeah, I also already have domestic 3D of Skyscraper and The Meg is pre-ordered to arrive next week.

Ant-Man & The Wasp is import only on 3D, that's why the one on Amazon.com is so high (import from Latin America). There is no actual domestic release.

It's usually cheaper for a new release, but if you're willing to wait, I think the UK versions usually drop in price pretty significantly (see my post above re: BP and SW:TLJ).

Not including those who bought in the re-release of the 30 Film Set, I think one or two people at Bluray.com said they get theirs yesterday.
As expected it sounds like the same disc that was included in the 30 film set.

OTOH, multiple people have said they have received notice via their FedEx Delivery Manager that they have incoming packages due this week -- signature required. Nobody is reporting any emails from Universal that things are being shipped.

There was also an interesting back and forth with someone in Germany who has spoken to to reps from KOCH who are releasing the German version of the Creature set (3 discs apparently) specifically about the Revenge of the Creature. I would love to hear Bob's take on this whole conversation, but it would explain several things. I'm not totally sure how much is decision made and how much is due to elements available which he would likely know far more than anyone else.

"A representative of Koch media, a company that has licenced the Creature box set for release in Germany, has commented on a german forum on the problem with the "Revenge of the Creature" Blu-ray.
Apparently for some reason the right-eye picture was heavily processed by Universal and not in a good way. The left-eye print was left more or less intact and looks much more natural.

Unfortunately when you choose the 2D option the player accesses the inferior right-eye version (because that's the standard). The "Revenge" disc in Koch's soon to be released german box set will use the superior left-eye version for it's 2D version."

In the UK we are all stuck with the inferior disc as Universal wont help us over this side of the pond. In future I will be being very careful what I order and from were.

Frankly having supported Universal products for decades including buying all the 8mm films they issued back the, Laserdisc, tapes etc I feel badly let down and I'm certainly with this guy on youtube.
