I thought AUDREY WELLS came across as a very personable and knowledgeable filmmaker. I had never even heard of her before, yet she wrote the screenplay, co-produced AND directed the film. I'm looking forward to more of her work.

do you mean hard-matte WS or open-matte with masking for the theatrical WS presentation?

It's more-than-likely an open-matte film matted for WS as are most 1.85:1 films these days... (my guess)

fortunately, yes. but i still had to pay $22 to ship it off and have to wait for it to get repaired. it just went completely dead in the middle of watching the movie, and the fuse is still good, so i imagine that the power supply crapped out.
in the meantime, my wife wants me to take the dvd player upstairs to the bedroom, but it's gonna be painful going from a 100" 16:9 to a 32" 4:3.
