Ron......
Surely this one deserves the proverbial Ron E. "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" moniker! ?? :)
I'm glad I never bought the 1997 release of "Cuckoo's"! This one sounds great!
Thanks again, Ron, for your continued stellar reviews! Kudos! :)

Why did they have to screw around with the Commentary and the Doc?
Actually, they IMPROVED the commentary. It still includes all of the content from the old one, which was honestly a bore; Forman went quiet for substantial periods. Now those spaces are filled with remarks from Douglas and Zaentz. I don't believe the new commentary loses anything from the original, but it adds a lot of good material...

Yes - a great movie for sure. Didn't realize this one was receiving a new release via a special edition.
Never watched the 1997 release as I heard it was of bad quality.
Thanks to Ron I will be picking up this version.:emoji_thumbsup:

I only have one question, if anyone is still watching this thread; for that matter even if Ron sees it, if he could help with info.

The original release inidicates a running time of 134 min, yet this new release is 133. Does anyone know or able to speculate upon the differences in these times or is it possible that it's just a typo mistake?

Thank you for you time to give me peace of mind...

Great Review of a Great Disc.

Thanks.

Here's another I'll have to pick up to replace an older (Inferior) DVD.
