If I ever become the owner of a theater this is what'll be showing the first week. (Of course, I probably couldn't get most of it) But heck, a guy's gotta dream eh? :D

Fun Tourney

Might also be fun to vote for who should get what titles like they did in the last draft too.

I agree!
I then began contemplating what title my list might win. I think I had a pretty good selection of movies from some of the greatest directors, such as:
David Lean (X 2)
Martin Scorsese
Stanley Kubrick
Alfred Hitchcock
Billy Wilder
Akira Kurosawa
John Schlesinger
Luc Besson
Add one-time director Charles Laughton for his brilliant work on The Night of the Hunter, and I think my list in this regard would stand up quite well! :)

Nice directors list, Rob, but your inclusion of Luc Besson automatically precludes you from winning :)
Gotta go with Bill's director list.
FWIW,
My favorite lists belonged to
1. Bill
2. Dome
3. Paul
4. Rob T
5. John T

I just knew someone would say that! It is only fitting that it would be you, Jan!
While I recognize that Besson may be the weakest director on my list, I still think that he is a very good director. He has directed several of my favorite films, including Leon, The Big Blue and The Fifth Element.
Bills list does include Fellini, Wells and Coppola, all of which are missing from my list, so I agree that he also has a great selection of Directors.
Anyway, Jan, in anticipation of any further derogatory comments regarding Luc Besson, I give you the following:

:D

Hey, it's not like he sucks...Ok, well, yes, he does. Like his American counterpart, Tim Burton, he'd be better off in the 1920's. It was a time when the written word never seemed to get in the way of amazing visuals. :D

Actually, I think he deserves credit for writing some really decent screenplays including Leon, La Femme Nikita and The Big Blue.
I realize that writing a decent screenplay and having great dialogue are not the same thing. But, I think the guy has some talent. (We will exclude Joan of Arc from this discussion :))
