Peter Hyams actually hasn't always served as his own Director of Photography, 2010 was his first film as Director/DP.

Outland for instance was shot by Stephen Goldblatt who also shot Young Sherlock Holmes and Lethal Weapon.

Capricorn One was shot by Bill Butler who also shot Jaws and The Conversation.

I thought this disc had a TrueHD track??

Once my bank account recovers from Christmas, I will be snapping this up quickly. This is grade A Van Damme cheese, and hopefully Sudden Death isn't far behind (both are two of the handful of SD discs I ever imported so that I could have them in their OAR).

Can you confirm that this package does NOT also contain a standard DVD side? I ask only because some websites list the set as containing both, while others say HD only.

i dont like the combos, but this one would have nbeen a good
choice since no oar sd dvd exists.

one of my favorite of the genre.

Great review Neil. You've made me want to get this even in the wake of all this format news. No easy task. I just have one nit pick. Universal Soldier: The Return is actually Universal Soldier 4 not 2. Otherwise, I'm glad to hear such an amazing review of this HD DVD. I'm gonna pick this up this week. Thanks.
