OK folks, here is the draft order:
1. Frontal LeBeautomy
2. Mother Punchers
3. Kroft Superstars
4. Instant Replay Hoods
5. Narn Racers
6. Mazedawg Maniacs
7. Shawshank Redemptors
8. Keyser Soze Slayers
9. Brett's Squad
10. Reno's Raiders
11. JDL Squad
12. Mordor RingWraiths
Considering I dropped 9 spots to #10, I hope all of you will be considerate enough to leave M. Faulk on the board until I can pick him ;)

One day until the draft!
Being honest with myself I realize that Mr. Faulk will most likely not be available when I pick 10th. So I'm asking that all of you be nice enough not to pick Kris Brown (K, Hou) I believe my teams hopes rest on the laser-like precision of Kris Brown and the powerful Houston offense...
One thing that really frosts my ass - I'm in another league that drafts a few hours before the HTF FFL II draft tomorrow. This is a $$ league ($50). Some guy announces yesterday (48 hours before draft) that he is backing out. Now we are left scrambling to fill the last position

Since this is a live draft, is there a point to ranking players ?

You should rank them as insurance should something happen to your connection or you arrive late, etc.

Only as insurance. If something comes up and you can't make it or your internet service goes down you would be covered. But if you feel pretty confident neither will happen then don't bother.

So how does everyone feel they did on the draft?

I', pretty happy with mine. I feel like the only mistake I made was when I took Bill "I play for the Lions" Schroeder in the 9th instead of a decent TE. I ended up with Wesley Walls, who's one of the better TE's, but is really getting up there and a major injury risk.

I'm pretty happy. I wish I had better running backs, but I feel I got the best QB and some excellent wide receivers as my backbone, with a good kicker and defense as support.

My team is OK. Not the best, not the worst. I have plenty of good WRs available, but as someone put it during the draft, I will probably have to resort to RB "by committee"! Between Tomlinson, Bettis and Staley I should be able to get some points.

As for QB, if Griese and the Bronco receivers stay healthy I will have a fine season. I have to wait to see when Dilfer returns if he is a worthy backup.

The live draft was a blast. The selection of a defense and a kicker in the fourth round remains a highlight of last night!

Danny-

I was poised to take Garcia as the overall #3 pick after, what I incorrectly assumed, Faulk and Warner, but when Shaun Alexander was taken #2 overall, I just felt I couldn't pass on Warner. My heart went with Garcia though, besides the fact, I get to see almost all the 49er games.

I may be regretting that all year if Warner's hand problems persist.
Although I think I got a potential sleeper in the 49er TE Johnson. They throw to him all the time.

I don't know, Dennis...while the Pittburgh DEF going in the fourth round was entertaining, I couldn't stop laughing at the "all sleepers, all the time" mentality of the Instant Replay Hoods.
My wide receiver corps is the only thing that concerns me. If Spurrier's Redskins offense ends up beuing as pass-oriented as I think it will be, I might have to grab one of the remaining WAS receivers for some easy points. ;)

I'm pretty happy with my team. My WRs are pretty good (Harrison, Moulds, Booker) and my RBs aren't bad either (Holmes, A. Smith). My QBs are a bit shaky (McNair, B. Johnson), but I have Shockey at TE. :)
The RingWraiths are ready to take everyone into the shadow.

I don't hate my team, but I won't lie and say I'm not concerned about injury risk. I'm really exposed since I didn't back up my QB, TE, K, or D.
I did some research after the draft on strength of schedule numbers for my starters (Footballguys SOS rankings):
QB Favre #20
RB Green #8
RB Pittman #2
WR KJ #4
WR Coles #25
WR Burress #9
TE Sharpe #13
K Nedney #1
D Redskins #22
And based on the win-loss record of the opponents:
2. Pittsburgh
5. Green Bay
9. Tampa Bay
11. NYJ
This makes me feel pretty good about the fantasy scoring opportunities of my players.
I couldn't stop laughing at the "all sleepers, all the time" mentality of the Instant Replay Hoods.
That's me! If they pay off, I'll look like a genius. :D :D :D Actually, I've never played in a league with 3 WRs and a TE, so I picked a few extra receivers for insurance. The first one will be set free during the first few weeks of the season as I evaluate their performances.
