That's certainly the vibe I get from the thing. I doubt it IS supposed to be that, but the creature is very Cthulhuian.

Can't find that bloody King Kong frame:frowning:

It's five seconds before that, right at the chapter change where the picture gets corrupted.
Found it last night.

Can't complain about the wrong timecode being posted as the running time info on mine went absolutely nuts when I did it. But it's in the corruption.

I REALLY wanted to see it in theaters but knew that it'd make me hurl if I did. And that was a good decision: I got a little motion-sick watching it at home, so if I'd seen it on the big screen, mucho chunk-blowing would've ensued... :frowning:

Just found Kong at 1 hour 6 min 54 sec, one second earlier Tony. ;)

Oh and I took a snapshot, don't look if you want to find it for yourself, Kong appears for one frame only -

i don't know.

i tried to step pause at 54secs but i can't get kong until 55 secs.

there's also another 1 frame monster appearance earlier at around 49 inutes 29 secs.

The best King Kong injoke is in Sky Captain where for a split second you can see the big ape climbing the Empire State Building in the distance during an action sequence near the beginning. :)
