I should also add, so as not to step on anyone's toes, that although the topic is the "HTF All Thumbs League," this group is not officially sanctioned by the Home Theater Forum or its owners, operators and members. The HTF clan thread got me thinking (nothing good ever comes of this).
Are there any horrible players out there? It would be nice to have a league for those of us who are all thumbs.
I plan to sign up for Xbox Live, but I just can't imagine having a lot of fun getting fired up by 12-year olds and other people who have actual skills.
The ability to find games with other players in a bush league sure would be nice.
Are there any others who agree?

I don't want to speak for the rest of the people in the clan but my gaming skills are nothing to get up in the night and rave about...my impression (and the reason I signed on)is that everyone in the HTF clan is into this for the fun of it and to play against more mature gamers, with less emphasis on whose got mad skillz and who doesn't. The more the merrier Jay!

Maybe the HTF Clan/Database that Kelley is creating can have a field for populating skill ranking by game. Maybe a ranking from 1 to 5, with 5 being "mad skillz", would suffice? This would give people an idea of what to expect or who to seek out for gaming sessions.

I love that idea! I have a fantastic time online, yet rarely ever come out on top. It seems that I just can't devote the time it takes to make these games like second nature...

If/when I get XBL (still can't decide if I'll use it much, not much for games yet) this would be the perfect league for me. I got my XBOX this summer. The only other system I owned at the time was an Atari 2600. Needless to say many of my gaming skills need work. PC games don't require as much hand eye coordination, at least not most of the ones I usually play.
