I had to post it in the Blu-ray area then move it to Movies.

That's brilliant!

I had an issue where I had a press release for an LA 3D screening and couldn't post it in Movies because it wanted an external link code. Wish I had thought of doing that.

It should be displaying like this now to highlight unread messages - with no changed needed on your end.

Interesting - that shouldn't be related but I'll take a look. Do you access it from the Admin panel itself (Admin-Logs-Moderator Log) or do you have a more direct link on the forum page itself that you guys use? I ask because I have a slightly different forum view due to my permissions and you guys actually see a couple things I don't I've noticed in the past.

Well, whenever moderator actions are taken and the log reflects that, we get a notification on the black bar at the top of the page (with a superscipt # telling us how many actions are new). When I click on that now, I don't see anything.

So, tonight, I went into the admin panel. Clicked on the LOGS button in the center of the page. I got the "Ooops! We ran into some problems." page. When I click on the LOGS dropdown menu in the left column, the only option I see is STATISTICS.

I see that link right now (with a notification that there's 34 new actions). When I click on the link I get taken to this page:

and see just a blank white page.

In regards to the Unread Messages flag, what I am seeing is that as soon as I click on the alerts icon, the number of unread messages is cleared out. That is something that changed after the upgrade. Before, the number would decrease as I clicked on the messages OR saw the reaction posting in the list.

This is similar to what a couple of us were seeing for McAfee "subscription expired" (discussed in the other "Annoying Pop-Ups" thread). I haven't seen the McAfee one lately.

I don't so much mind the occasional errant pop-up advert, but I'm not real happy when my browser is seemingly hijacked and I'm forwarded to a completely different URL page.

Certainly not an intentional new thing - I sent this over to our ad guys so they can see whats going on and block the advertiser that it originated from. You can find a few more details on these intrusive ads in this thread as well

@Mike Frezon I can at least verify that's what I'm seeing in staging as well - and I have super admin rights so it's likely not a permissions issue. There was a mod related add-on that was upgraded and it must have had some additional impacts - I sent this over to our XF guys to take a look at and see if they can fix the redirect/whatever impacted the link.

@Todd Erwin and @ManW_TheUncool - I can't get this issue recreated on my end, but I'm seeing it affecting a few people so I also pulled in our XF guys on this too. It seems more like a basic XF functionality rather than anything an add-on would impact, but I'll see what they say and if they throw a fix in I'll reach out to you guys to verify if it's better or not.

Sorry guys, I was out of town Friday-Sunday so I'm catching up on these things now I'm going to dig in myself today and then if needed I can grab our upgrade team as well for anything where I'm not seeing a decent solution.

It was a bit too good to be true to have a massive update with no issues, it just took a couple days to find the impacts. Thanks for jumping in to let us know. They all seem reasonable, because these things are all likely controlled by add-ons that were updated.

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything:
- Mobile display - text is shoved into the right side (to varying degrees probably depending on screen size) and possibly exclusively in threads with TheMovieDB pulling the details?
- Alerts are not working correctly - when you see the number and press the bell there is no little star next to new things so you can't tell what's actually new. (I think that's what I'm seeing as well?)
- Photos causing it to jump to top when being posted - @Robert Crawford is it jumping up and then back to your new post? or staying at the top and forcing you to scroll back down?I
- Prefixes when making a post are not scrollable anymore and only usable if you know the pre-fix and start typing it to get the autocomplete option.

I didn't see a response from Robert on the Photos issue so I'll update...

It takes you to the top of the page/thread as the photo is uploading. When the upload completes you're taken to the edit box at the location of the photo being inserted. At first I was scrolling down but one time didn't do that and it returned me once the upload completed. A few more tests and more patient observation verified that's what was happening.

We're not finished updating, and that seems like a Xenforo oddity and we will be upgrading Xenforo to the newest version shortly (I hope) so that may take care of that on it's own. If it doesn't and its causing a problem for anyone we can take a look at it more closely then.

I think it's an issue for those not aware of what's happening. I post a lot of images, so I know to wait a minute or so. However, other members might not be as cognizant of the issue that happen to post an image in one of their posts.

Thanks! Once I realized if I just waited for the ul to complete I'd be taken back to where I inserted the video it became a minor thing... odd but not anything that really gets in the way.

Over the past few days the site seems more sluggish than normal. I've had a *few* timeout issues - not many but enough to be a bit disconcerting. That's been on both a 10GB work connection and a 1GB home connection with no such issues on other sites.

Same. I can get right into the forums, but after reading two or three posts/threads, it slows down and/or locks up. Most often happens if I'm viewing it in Safari on my iPad or iPhone.
