I’d anyone else experiencing this?

On my iPhone (just using mobile Safari), yes, it's more or less like that -- not quite as extreme as your screencap, but a lot like that (w/ some text ending up cropped).

Are you using the old HTF mobile app (which might be worse), not a mobile web browser?

I'm viewing on an android phone using Chrome browser (not HTF app), and I'm seeing what Tino's seeing.

Sorry guys, I was out of town Friday-Sunday so I'm catching up on these things now I'm going to dig in myself today and then if needed I can grab our upgrade team as well for anything where I'm not seeing a decent solution.

It was a bit too good to be true to have a massive update with no issues, it just took a couple days to find the impacts. Thanks for jumping in to let us know. They all seem reasonable, because these things are all likely controlled by add-ons that were updated.

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything:
- Mobile display - text is shoved into the right side (to varying degrees probably depending on screen size) and possibly exclusively in threads with TheMovieDB pulling the details?
- Alerts are not working correctly - when you see the number and press the bell there is no little star next to new things so you can't tell what's actually new. (I think that's what I'm seeing as well?)

- Photos causing it to jump to top when being posted - @Robert Crawford is it jumping up and then back to your new post? or staying at the top and forcing you to scroll back down?
- Prefixes when making a post are not scrollable anymore and only usable if you know the pre-fix and start typing it to get the autocomplete option.

@Tino @Malcolm R @ManW_TheUncool for the mobile display issue - can you guys confirm if that's looking better for you now? I threw in some code to force the details to display below the photo on mobile only and from my side it's looking good now.

The problem is that if you don't know what prefixes are available, you don't know what to type.

Anyone not familiar with the prefixes that were available there before will have no idea what to type (if they type anything at all). What you don't see won't get used.

Can that recent change be reversed?

I was only restating the issue so that I can be sure I understood it - however, I think I fixed it already. In previous versions we were allowed to have "uncategorized" prefixes but in the update uncategorized things don't display. I categorized all of those are General and they should be available in all forums. I can be more granular with them if we don't want them to be available all places. But if we verify that's all this was then I can customize/organize it as needed in the future.

Check and see if you can view everything you want on the drop down and let me know.

Apologies. Misunderstood your response.

Just did a test post and all the prefixes are back. Thank you for fixing this!

Awesome, one growing pain down! And if we want to organize them more (like having certain ones only available in certain forums) just shout.

@John Dirk @ManW_TheUncool Unread Notification Alerts - it looks like the add-on that handle that was removed in the upgrade. We can add it back, but we can also simply put a little code in to avoid having extra software to maintain. Currently I set anything that is unread to a light shade of blue. Unless we're very attached to that old icon, I think it's going to be more ideal to be less dependent on other software and to use simpler in-house solutions like this.

I tried a few colors as well as bolding new notifications and what you will see currently is what I think looked best. It seems visible but not intrusive. I'm happy to take any feedback on this for the next couple of days to try to appease everyone as best as possible.

Hey @andrew !

I don't know if this is connected to the add-on update, but I am now unable to see the Moderator's Log. I click on the link, a page opens up, but nothing appears.

Interesting - that shouldn't be related but I'll take a look. Do you access it from the Admin panel itself (Admin-Logs-Moderator Log) or do you have a more direct link on the forum page itself that you guys use? I ask because I have a slightly different forum view due to my permissions and you guys actually see a couple things I don't I've noticed in the past.

I don't see any difference so far. Do we need to do something for that?

I couldn't even post an obituary thread in Movies without any issues. I keep getting the following error message:

TMDb ID not valid

It should be displaying like this now to highlight unread messages - with no changed needed on your end.

I had to post it in the Blu-ray area then move it to Movies.
That's a solid work around. I imagine it's infrequent that we need to post non-movies in the the movie's forum so we can use that for the moment at least while I check around and see how it's worked previously. It looks like it was always set up specifically as a TMDb forum when it was created, but perhaps some settings changed in the newest TMDb add-on version that we'll need to address.
