Hi people I'm new here. I want to setup a home theatre in my room from my computer. I have an iMac with a digital optical output. Going to be using it mostly for music/movies as I usually watch movies on my comp. I was leaning towards the onkyo htib systems probably the s570 but maybe the s770 if i can find it cheap enough, or do you think the logitech 5500 or a klipsch computer speaker system would be better? I wouldnt mind hooking this up to a ps2 or something down the line
Kinda wanna stay under $300 btw.
Thanks

Welcome to Home Theater Forum, ardavan.

The following is posted atop the Basics area thread-listing page, in red:

Basics is for general discussion about home theater for newcomers. Since you're asking an HTiB-related question and want specific recommendations, your post has been moved to A/V Sources.

Best of luck.

I will only say that no computer speaker system yet, can match what an Onkyo 770 system gives you performance wise.
