OK, wierd question, slightly off-topic, but there are still quite a number of smart people out there. :)
While enjoying my home theater system, I typically like to have my faculties undiluted by the effects of caffeine.
But I have always wondered about "Iced Teas." Usually not a mention of caffeine on the label. But if it is an "intrinsic" part of the beverage, would it be there anyway? Or is it on the label only if it has been specifically added?
Or like a fast food places, enjoying a meal before heading home to watch a DVD on a home theater system. "Rasberry Iced Tea." Caffeine in that?
Thanks!

Yes. Tea= caffeine unless specified otherwise. There are some teas that are not only decaf, but herbal to naturally "relax" you.

I think caffeine is not added to iced tea labels because it occurs naturally in the brewing process, whereas it is added to cola. However, I can't stand tea and do not drink it, so I may be wrong on this one. Any other ideas, guys?

I prefer coca-cola or Sprite (the real thing...not the Sierra Mist impersonation). But then again, I like Sierra Mist, too!

Whatever beverage happens to be in the fridge, is what I drink :)
I'm a pretty easy-going guy.

Depends on the movie crowd and movie. I have some pint jars that will fit 2 cans of Barq's (Barq's has bite) for the easy going crowd.
For the discerning crowd I have had the misfortune to have been introduced to single malt Scotches

. (It just figures that blended Scotches taste like horse piss

to me and I had to like the single malts. ) My two fav's right now are Dalwhinnie (sp?) and my big fav is Dalmore.

And the college student brings liquor into the conversation, (just kidding, I'm a full timer too), as far as the single malts go, try my current fav, Macallan, very strong and smoky. I generally drink lemon or lime Perrier myself, or coffe depending on the time of year.

Brent tried it and liked it. A friend has a bottle of J. Walker Blue ($200 or $250 a bottle !!!!) And I thought it was horrible. I didn't want to say anything after he gave me such a generous glass of the stuff but I almost poured it into a nearby plant when he wasn't looking. The big laugh was I later found out he is trying to get rid of the stuff because he hates it too! It was a gift from his son-in-law so he didn't want to seem ungrateful but he hates the stuff.
