UPS is scheduled todeliver my vtf-3 today! I have a few questions regarding calibration. I'm going to use a radio shack digital spl meter and test tones from toy story thx menu (I know, avia is better). My reciever (yamaha rx-v995) has a subwoofer level adjustment from -12 db to 0db. Also, there is an adjustment for D.D. LFE -20 db to 0 db, and an adjustment for dts lfe -10 db to +10 db. Here is my question. Once I set the level the subwoofer using the subwoofer level adjustment, what do I set the d.d. lfe and dts lfe to?? Do I set them to the same level as the subwoofer level adjustment?

Set the DD and DTS LFE pad to max, lower the sub level output to about 1/4 way up, anywhere less than half should be OK but shoot for 1/4. Last, turn up your sub amp gain to get the proper calibrated level.
