Hsu sub STF or VTF (1 Viewer)

I am considering a Hsu sub. Is a STF right for music, or HT? Any info would be helpful.

Subs don't care what material they play. It's just electrical impulses to them. If the sub you get is accurate, then it will reproduce everything you throw at it. The VTF models allow you to change the tuning frequency which trades extension for SPL.

Hsu, SVS, Epik, etc all make very accurate subs. You need to find one that has the features you want, looks nice to you, can adequately fill the room with bass and meets your budget requirements. But no matter which sub you pick, the room will have the largest impact. If you want to get the best performance from your sub it will take some effort on your part to properly calibrate.
