Email is making a huge dent on their business and these things don't help.
On another note, I tried getting an account at USPS like I have with Fedex and UPS. I needed one so my clients about 3-4 hours away can just send their stuff to me thru USPS and have it charged to my account much like the other carriers. First of all, no one knew what I was talking about. I had to go to a major office, spoke to a couple of guys until I got to a "main" shipping guy. I was then told to fill out a form and dole out $600 and wait a few days. I then explained myself again and even told them about the other carriers where they don't charge u to get an account. They say there's no other way. So, I respectfully declined. With reliability issues already plaguing them, no wonder they're losing money.
