I am going to get a Harman Kardon PA-5800 amplifier to power some multi-room speakers, and I was wondering how I would connect it to my Pioneer Elite VSX-53TX receiver? Here's the link to the HK PA-5800 manual...

Any help would be great, I have never had an external amp in my house setup, just my car [IMG]

By “multi room speakers” do you mean for additional rooms or zones?

All you need is RCA cables between the Pioneer’s pre-outputs and HK’s inputs (#2 in the manual rear panel diagram). If your Pioneer has “Zone 2” outputs you’ll probably want to use those. If not, you can use the main L/R outs. You’ll probably have to use some “y”s to get the signal to all the HK’s channels.
