How to set this up? (1 Viewer)

I have a:

-4K projector mounted to the ceiling
-A PC running golf simulator software
-A Devon 4K receiver
-An apple tv
-A PS5
-A Sonos port connecting to bookshelf speakers.

Im trying to figure out what should run to what. I was planning to run everything to the receiver and run the receiver to the projector using an optical HDMI. I’m already running into issues though, specifically getting my computer to project in 4K (the display settings only show 1080p, even though it’s a nvidia 3080 that 100% does 4K).

Any suggestions?

Which display are you referring to, the computer, receiver or projector.

If you haven't already I would suggest the following.

• Very display resolution on the PC.
• Assuming it is outputting 4K to the receiver, check the settings there to verify whether or not the receivers settings are causing it to downscale the resolution to 1080P
• If the receiver isn't downscaling then you'll need to check the projectors settings in the same manner.

Specific model numbers for the receiver and projector would be helpful to dig in a bit deeper.

- the projector is the BenQ LK953ST
- receiver is a Denon AVR S-960.
- computer is a custom build with a GeForce 3080 graphics card.
