How to record a PIP image? (1 Viewer)

I need to figure out a way to record a picture-in-picture image onto a VCR. Is there a way to extract the combined PIP image from a TV and record it to a VCR (or other video recording device)?

The only way would be if the television has a video out jack. I can't say that they don't exist but I've never seen one.
